About US

Erik Kraayeveld is a lifelong resident of Grand Rapids, and this vibrant city holds a special place in his heart. As a proud resident of Grand Rapids, Erik is thrilled to be raising his family in this vibrant community.

Growing up in Grand Rapids was a privilege for Erik. Erik graduated from Calvin College, now known as Calvin University, in 2015. Immediately after graduation, he began buying and selling real estate in West Michigan. It has been his privilege to assist first-time home buyers, families, and new and seasoned investors alike in realizing their dreams.

Erik formed Crow’s Nest Property Management in 2017 due to his clients’ experiences with self-management and other management companies. He observed his clients struggling with self-management because of the time it took. When they sought the help of a property management company, they were often taken advantage of with high maintenance fees and constant turnover to increase management fees. That’s why Crow’s Nest Property Management is committed to a flat fee structure for the management of the property, ensuring fairness and transparency for clients.

One thing that has always been close to Erik’s heart is the building industry. He grew up in a family that has been involved in construction for generations. From a young age, Erik was fascinated by the process of creating something from nothing and turning a vision into reality. He learned the value of hard work, dedication, and craftsmanship from his family, and those lessons have stayed with him throughout his life.

After high school, Erik decided to continue his education right here in Grand Rapids. While attending college, he worked in construction continuing to develop his ability to work hard and learn the construction industry. It was during this time that his passion for the building industry truly blossomed. Erik immersed himself in learning everything he could about construction techniques, project management, and sustainable design practices.

Today, Erik is proud to be a part of the Grand Rapids community in more ways than one. Not only does he work in the building industry, but he also enjoys attending local events and supporting the city’s vibrant culture. Whether it’s cheering on sports teams, exploring the downtown area, or attending festivals and concerts, there’s always something exciting happening in Grand Rapids.
In everything he does, Erik strives to make a positive impact on the community and contribute to its continued growth and prosperity. Grand Rapids isn’t just where he lives – it’s a part of who he is. Erik is grateful every day for the opportunity to call this amazing city his home.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know Erik a little better. He looks forward to connecting with you and sharing more about his journey here in Grand Rapids!
